- Halavi date: a relatively small fruit, with a soft and juicy texture and a delicate sweet taste. Great for combining in sweet dishes and pastries.
- Noor palm date: a medium-sized date, with a slightly drier texture. It is less sweet than other date varieties and is particularly suitable for cooking.
- Amri date: dry date, extra large, fibrous and less sweet.
- Haderavi date: a round and plump date, sweet and juicy. Because it tastes similar to Majhol it is sometimes called "small Majhol" or "mini Majhol".
