The Golan Heights Winery, located in Katzrin, is the third largest winery in the country. The winery utilizes the unique terroir of the Golan Heights, characterized by a cool climate, basaltic soils, and high altitude, to create high-quality and highly regarded wines. The Golan Heights wines are divided into several series, including: the Yarden series – the winery’s flagship series, which presents the highest quality wines, including single-vineyard wines; the Gamla series, which offers varietal wines and blends, suitable for aging; and the Mount Hermon series, which includes wines that are accessible for everyday drinking.
